Located in the interior of the Recreo de la Cadenas Palace, these rooms are designed in the purest Louise XV French style, maintaining the essence of the old palatial houses or mansions. Commissioned by Don Julián Pemartín Lobarde, prosperous wine-producer who chose and purchased the land for the Recreo de las Cadenas in order to dedicate it to his own leisure and also to the extension of his sherry facilities. The Palace was, without any doubt, a rest area as it is surrounded by a huge garden which invites you to stroll around and escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Years ago these grand rooms played host to the most elegant parties of the time: their richly decorated interiors, with marble and carved fireplaces, bronzes on the stairs and doors, and standing out from all the rest the largest mirror of the age. These rooms are currently used for meetings, receptions and exhibitions, and they have played host to numerous events, including the shooting of feature films such as "Cuba", starring Sean Connery, "Montoyas and Tarantos" by Javier Escribá and "Volaverunt" by the film director Bigas Lunas, as well as appearing in numerous advertising spots.
