The Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre will inaugurate the National Philatelic Exhibition ExfilJerez 2026 on 25 June. The exhibition will bring together an outstanding collection of philatelic items dedicated to the equestrian world and will remain open to the public until 11 July, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
During the opening ceremony, a commemorative stamp and a special postmark issued by Correos de España (Spanish Post) in tribute to the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre will also be presented. The A-rate stamp features the Duque de Abrantes Palace alongside one of the institution’s horses, while the postmark pays tribute to Álvaro Domecq, a key figure in the School’s history.
The exhibition will offer visitors a journey through the history of the horse through stamps, postmarks, postcards, documents and other philatelic pieces from national and international collections, highlighting the close relationship between philately and the equestrian world.
